OMG, OMG, OMG! Sia, the ultimate Cray Card fan, had just discovered that it was National Cray Card Day! That meant two VIP tickets to Cray Card Land were hidden around the city.
Sia had always dreamed of visiting Cray Card Land, where she could finally get the most legendary card — one that could easily defeat any other. But it was only available in VIP mode, and Sia was desperate to get those exclusive tickets.
Sia found the first clue in a commercial where she heard about the event. The message was all jumbled, but with some help from her friend Amia (who’s awesome at solving word puzzles), they cracked it and moved on to the next clue.
The clue read: “Where we sang, where we sing.”
Amia and Sia knew the answer immediately.
“It’s the old tree,” said Sia dreamily, “the one planted after the huge earthquake, where we all sang and wished for hope.”
Amia and Sia ran to the garage to get their bikes with a notice that they would be back late for dinner to their parents. Off they both went to the tree. As they arrived Sia started climbing the tree to search around for another clue as when Amia looked around the tree on ground.
They found a QR code on the tree trunk, Amia opened up her phone and scanned it. Her phone just showed the word Capricorn. They both were confused by what it meant. But then Sia had an amazing light bulb, she suggested “Capricorn comes in January and the only January activity still there is ice skating.” Amia agreed to Sia and rode their bikes to the ice skating rinks and found another QR code, this time it said “WOW, Smart brains. Just one more to go” It had no clue. Amia was really confused while Sia read over and over. Amia got tired of thinking, she found her favorite candy to eat for a break. “POP,POP” the popping candy went, Sia jumped off the bench she was sitting on and screamed “Amia it is a clue! It is the smart brain candy store, see. Smart Brain candies” Amia saw the words from another perspective and realized Sia is correct.
They both went to the Smart brain candy store and searched for another clue. 2 minutes after searching the store, they decided to ask the store clerk where the next clue for the cray card hunt was. The store clerk simply asked for the password, giving a wild guess, Amia answered “WOW, Smart brains. Just one more to go”. And it was correct, they both earned the VIP passes.
They later arrived home with a super big smile and a polite plead to their parents to take them to Cray Card Land. Well the parents of course happily said YES.
